Nextgreen Global Berhad is proud to be recognised by ASEAN Records for two significant achievements in sustainability, a testament to the Company’s commitment to innovation and circular economy leadership in the region.

The recognitions include:

• First Green Technology Park Adopting a Circular Economy Model with patented technology to convert oil palm biomass into EFB pulp and paper
• First Integrated Oil Palm Biomass Processing Hub since 2022

These recognitions mark a major milestone for Nextgreen’s Green Technology Park (GTP) in Pekan, Pahang, a pioneering zero-waste industrial model that transforms palm oil waste into eco-labelled pulp, paper, fertilizers, agrofeed, and renewable energy. The GTP demonstrates the successful integration of innovation, sustainability, and profitability within a single circular ecosystem.

The certificates were officially presented to Dato’ Lim Thiam Huat, Managing Director, and Dr. Kelly Lim Kah Yen, Executive Director, and witnessed by YBhg. Datuk Dr. Ching Thoo, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability.

This achievement reinforces Nextgreen’s dedication to driving Malaysia’s green economy and setting a benchmark for sustainable industrial development across ASEAN.
