Nextgreen Global successfully participated in the local technology innovation competition at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE 2023). Competing in two categories, we proudly secured 3 Gold medals and 1 Outstanding Innovation Award. In the Manufacturing Process and Advanced Materials category, we won the Gold and Outstanding Innovation awards for our Sustainable Food Packaging made from oil palm empty fruit bunches’ cellulosic fibre. This innovative packaging solution was developed using a hybrid chemical-mechanical-thermal process. Additionally, our patented technology, the Preconditioning Refiner Chemical-Recycle Bleached Mechanised Pulp (PRC-RBMP), earned us the second Gold award in the oil palm fibre-pulp production category. Furthermore, we were honored with the third Gold award for establishing the Green Technology Park. This recognition highlights our intensive research efforts in environmental protection, energy conservation, water management, wastewater treatment, sanitation, and green technology. These achievements inspire Nextgreen Global to continue advancing our research to remain competitive and aligned with the forefront of sustainability and industrial advancements.
