A group of 14 final-year Chemical Engineering students from Universiti Malaya, led by Dr. Hanee Farzana, visited Nextgreen’s Green Technology Park in Pahang on June 2, 2023. Dr. Arisyah delivered an enlightening presentation, introducing Nextgreen’s groundbreaking efforts to revolutionize the pulp and paper industry and lead the world towards sustainability. The students explored innovative products showcased in the R&D Annual Report 2022, including EFB wood-free paper and food packaging. They then visited the wood-free paper factory, where Dr. Arisyah and the R&D team provided a comprehensive briefing. The visit sparked enthusiasm as students related their knowledge to previous experiences and recognized Nextgreen’s commitment to environmental preservation and the Sustainable Development Goals. This enriching experience will inspire the students to share their newfound insights and contribute to a greener future.
