Collaboration with ANGKASA for development of MyAngkasaku apps

Nextgreen Global Berhad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC), Koperasi Sahabat Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia Berhad (KOOP Sahabat), and Koperasi Perkhidmatan Setia Berhad (KOSETIA) to establish 20 collection centers for oil palm waste. This strategic alliance aims to create a more sustainable and efficient system for collecting and disposing of oil palm waste. The collection centers will serve as one-stop centers for gathering oil palm biomass, which will then be processed into materials for the production of paper, food packaging, animal feed, and fertilizers at Green Technology Park, Pahang. The involvement of MGTC and the Ministry of Environment and Water (KASA) is seen as a catalyst for the project’s success. As part of the collaboration, the MyAngasaku application has been developed to enable ANGKASA members to purchase school supplies online using credit provided by Koperasi Perkhidmatan Setia Berhad. This initiative, supported by Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (Medac), Tan Sri Noh Omar, aims to yield positive results for all operations in Malaysia.
