Account Executive is responsible for book-keeping and all accounting works associated with day-to-day accounting operations which pertaining to account payable, accounts receivable, cashbook and other ah-hoc tasks assigned by superior.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Record keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Transaction Processing: Handle accounts payable and receivable, verify invoices, and process business transactions accurately and efficiently.
Reporting: Generate financial statements and reports for management review.
Month-End Closing: Assist with the month-end closing process, including reconciliation of account balances.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow and budget allocation.
Data Entry: Support the accounting manager with the audit and tax-related activities.
System Utilization: Autocount Accounting Software, SQL, Microsoft Office.
Requirement:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, finance or related fields.
2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (manufacturing background is a plus)
Experience with handling full set of accounts and financial operations.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian compliance (SST, WHT, Taxation etc.)
Familiarity with E-Invoice systems will be an added advantage
Profiecient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Autocount)
Able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken Chinese.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and able to work well in a team.
