Account Executive

Job Description:

Account Executive is responsible for book-keeping and all accounting works associated with day-to-day accounting operations which pertaining to account payable, accounts receivable, cashbook and other ah-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle accounts payable and receivable, verify invoices, and process business transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Reporting: Generate financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Month-End Closing: Assist with the month-end closing process, including reconciliation of account balances.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow and budget allocation.
  • Data Entry: Support the accounting manager with the audit and tax-related activities.
  • System Utilization: Autocount Accounting Software, SQL, Microsoft Office.

Requirement:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, finance or related fields.
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (manufacturing background is a plus)
  • Experience with handling full set of accounts and financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian compliance (SST, WHT, Taxation etc.)
  • Familiarity with E-Invoice systems will be an added advantage
  • Profiecient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Autocount)
  • Able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken Chinese.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and able to work well in a team.
