Duties & Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Reporting
- To lead and assist in developing concepts, research, design, evaluate materials, interpreting and analyzing data as well as other relevant works in R&D.
- Support efforts to verify new product design/formulations/process according to the targeted standards.
- Responsible for reporting and presenting the projects from start to finish.
- Conduct work across the full scope of technical and documentation activities for the department.
- Responsible for a laboratory set-up.
- Have to up-to-date with the latest R&D, so the company is always up-to-date and can fulfill the market demand.
- Support regulatory fillings to various government bodies as required.
- Support the development of intellectual property where required.
People
- Assist the R&D Assistant Manager and the technical community of all Nextgreen Group in any relevant works.
Stakeholders
- Assist in stakeholders engagement, either with universities, research institutes, or any relevant personnel that can bring innovative products to the market.
Required Experience :
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- The person must have deep knowledge and skills in doing research.
- The person must have leadership skills; Capable of coaching, supervising
Qualification :
Technical skills
- Ph.D. / MSc. (by research) in the field of science and technology, engineering or any
related fields. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), SAS, SPSS, and
other relevant applications. - Interpreting data, writing scientific & non-scientific reports, and making actionable
recommendations. - Exceptional written and oral communication abilities (English/Malay/other
languages). - Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis.
- Experience in managing and prepare scientific report for fertilizer-based projects.
Non-technical skills
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Academic and practical experience with a wide array of research.
