Nextgreen’s R&D team conducted market testing for our Biodegradable Molded Food Packaging product at the Malaysia Agriculture, Horticulture & Agrotourism (MAHA) 2022 Expo held at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS). Market testing is one of the listed activities for the Call for Proposal (CFP) project, funded by the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI).

The specific objectives of this activity are to identify customers’ opinions on eco-friendly food packaging as well as to identify customers’ feedback on Nextgreen’s EFB/nanocellulose (EFB/CNF) food packaging. It is also aimed to engage with the small, medium, and large local and foreign corporations at the expo, to identify their needs and demands, and to get their feedback on EFB-based food packaging.

This activity also allows our potential customers to gain hands-on experience with EFB-based packaging for food serving and packaging. Many of the respondents expressed a positive inclination towards considering our food packaging product as an alternative to plastic packaging.
