Nextgreen Global participated in the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition and Conference (IGEM) 2022 trade exhibition at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. In response to the government’s call for Malaysian corporations to fulfill their ESG commitments through green technologies, our presence aimed to support the acceleration of national sustainability policies.
Visitors had the opportunity to gain deeper insights into our core businesses, including pulp and paper manufacturing, printing, and publishing. The showcase featured the Green Technology Park (GTP) project, our flagship sustainable industrial park in Pekan, Pahang, highlighting the integration of green tech into the production of organic fertilizer and animal feed using the Zero Waste concept.
We also exhibited our renewable energy and utilities division as well as our R&D hub at GTP, underscoring our commitment to sustainability. Biodegradable Moulded Food Packaging Market Testing was also conducted at the exhibition with the aim to identify consumers’ opinions on eco-friendly food packaging as well as to identify customers’ feedback on Nextgreen’s EFB/nanocellulose (EFB/CNF) food packaging.
