The Forestry Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) showcased its R&D, design, innovation, and technology achievements at the FRIM Commercialization Day 2022 (HKF 2022) in Kepong. The event aimed to promote the commercialization of forest-based products and empower local industries. Deputy Secretary General Abdul Wahid Abu Salim officiated the program, with notable attendees including FRIM’s Director General, Deputy Directors General, Director of Innovation and Commercialization, and Chief Executive Officer of FRIM Incorporated (FRIM Inc.). The event brought together representatives from various government and private agencies, entrepreneurs, and industry players. FRIM also conducted a commercial document exchange and presented the Product Certification Module for Eco-Friendly Printing Paper from PRC-RBMP Empty Fruit Bunches of Oil Palm to Nextgreen Global Berhad.
