Nextgreen, in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) conducted a second tree planting activity. The program united 13 Nextgreen employees, UMP volunteers, and Jabatan Perhutanan Pahang staff to restore the degraded Hutan Simpan Chini in Pahang. About 150 indigenous plants, including Kulim, Kembang semangkuk, Mengkulang, and Merbau were planted there and bring the total to 350 trees across our two events. This initiative aligns with Nextgreen’s commitment to the SDGs, raising awareness about forest conservation and contributing to climate change mitigation and biodiversity preservation.
